Motion for CR 11 Sanctions against attorney or the other party
Civil Rule 11 PREVENTS an attorney or a party from writing a motion, declaration or any court document that:
(1) is not based on facts
(2) is not rooted or grounded in good/applicable law
(3) is written in bad faith
(4) is written for an improper purpose to delay, burden or make you look bad.
Pretty much sounds like every document an attorney files in a court case, huh? Yep. Attorneys lie for a living, break rules and they overwhelm you and try and make you look bad with desperate lies and no facts. And there's NO ACCOUNTABILITY. Why? Because that's the norm in family court and because no attorneys ever file CR 11 Motions against each other. They're all in the same club. Well, I do. Here's samples of motions and case law and samples of cases during the rare occasions that the courts have sanctioned a party or attorney.
